One Dog at a Time for Greenville
Tail Lights Dogs announces a new community initiative and fund,
One Dog at a Time for Greenville.
Tail Lights Dogs believes all dogs deserve:
- Stable, secure homes with benevolent leadership
- Gentle training guided by knowledgeable professionals
- Enrichment designed to satisfy dogs' natural gifts
- A chance to develop positive, safe interactions with people and other dogs
By choosing and fostering a well-tempered, highly trainable dog from a local shelter, Tail Lights will raise awareness of all the fabulous pet dogs just waiting to be adopted, while giving one dog at a time some special TLD TLC.
Our foster dog or puppy will be given all the right stuff for getting ahead, and swift adoption: foundation training, socialization, even some K9 Nose Work!

Recent Adoptee
Loretta
When little Loretta was only 8 weeks old, she was found abandoned, and dropped off at Greenville Animal Care Services.
Sweet, friendly and fun, she adores cuddles but will also entertain herself with a favorite toy. She is a very smart, confident puppy, and is doing great in puppy school.
Loretta is a moderately active girl, and enjoys a game of fetch or tug as well as a hike or stroll about town. We estimate Loretta to be about 3 months old now, possibly a lab/hound hybrid, and that she will grow to be a medium sized dog.
Since Loretta was chosen for her brains and her beauty, she would do best in a home that will enjoy continuing her training through fun and tricks.
Loretta has been ADOPTED!!!
Sponsors
The program's initial funding is by Tail Lights Dogs in honor of three of our sweet dogs who left us during the past year: Hunter Morris, Miss Molly Cooper, Casey Fulmer and Sally Turner.
Additional funds donated by Judy Stenhouse in honor of Sassy and Rascal, by Joan Pauly in honor of Gus, by Carol Fulmer in honor of Casey and by Tail Lights Dogs in honor of Cooper Yost.
Surplus funds will support local shelters embracing a philosophy compatible with the Tail Lights Dogs philosophy.
