How Do I Get Started?

  1. Email us or call 864.284.1024 during office hours to get scheduled. Or, fill out our Client Application, and we'll get right back to you.
  2. To ensure that we help you make the right training choice, we may recommend a free orientation for you and your dog.

Obedience Group Classes

Raising Rover


Start anytime!

For: Puppies 8 weeks - 16 weeks (with your veterinarian's approval, age limit exceptions with Instructor approval)

Prerequisites: Two sets of vaccinations, or veterinarian's approval

When:
Tuesdays, 6:15pm - 7pm
Saturdays, 10:15am - 11:00am
(No Class Nov. 21st, Nov. 25th, Dec. 23rd, Dec. 26th, Dec. 30th)

Cost: $120 - 6 visits, must complete by 16 weeks of age

We Cover:

Puppy Essentials

House-training. Crate and alone training. Bite inhibition and handling. Chew training. Puppy push-ups. Voluntary Check-ins. Much, much more!

Good Manners

Recall foundation, relaxation, name recognition, handling and preparation for vet and grooming visits. Conditioning your puppy to accept and follow cues, foundation positions.

Socialization

Early, positive introductions to new people, other puppies, noises, scents, and surfaces so your puppy grows up with confidence!

Being a Super Puppy Parent

Puppy-proof your home. What to expect during your puppy’s developmental stages.

Focus, Fido

For: Dogs over 4 months of age who have a hard time focusing in new environments

Prerequisites: Current vaccination certificate

When: Saturdays at 9:00am
Now Enrolling for June 2nd course!

Cost: $130; 4 visits.

We Cover:

Techniques that will help you get and keep your adolescent dog’s attention.

Be better prepared to handle exciting situations and keep your dog’s focus on you.

Build your bond with your dog to facilitate continued training.

For: For dogs 6 months and older, with instructor approval and current vaccination certificate

We Cover:

The Basics

Attention, sit, down, targeting, recall, go to and relaxation on mat, handling, foundations for polite walking and greeting, handler movement and body language and more.

Learning = Fun

We use games and activities from agility, nose work, and obedience to teach your dog behaviors that will make him a pleasure to live with.
